Get a Library Card
Applying for a library card is easy!
- To apply, you must have a valid photo ID (driver's license/State ID), and proof of address, if the address on the ID is not the current one. A library card may be given without the proof of address, but it will be temporary status until the address is verified.
- For minors, a parent or legal guardian must provide the information above, together with any legal guardianship paperwork if applicable.
What a library card gives you:
- FREE access to all library resources; books, videos, audios, digital resources, digital media, AND MORE!
- Access to materials from almost fifty libraries within the state
- Up to 50 item checkouts
- Up to 50 item holds
- Fine free on all Bellevue Public Library items, excluding hotspots and library of things collection
Not able to come into the library? No problem, sign up for a digital library card! Digital cards only require a mobile phone number and give you access to all digital resources.
